GoblinBBQ Refund and Cancellation Policy

GoblinBBQ provides this Refund and Cancellation Policy to ensure clarity and fairness for all customers while maintaining the integrity of our catering and food preparation processes. Because our dishes are fresh, perishable, and require advance planning, all orders and bookings are subject to the following conditions.

 

Once an order is placed, whether it is a catering booking or a prepared food order, a fifty percent refund is available if the customer decides to cancel. This rule applies immediately after the order is being made in kitchen because GoblinBBQ begins allocating resources, ingredients, and preparation time as soon as a booking is received. The remaining fifty percent is non-refundable and covers the cost of preparation, staffing commitments, and ingredients that may already be sourced or reserved for the event.

If a customer wishes to cancel a catering booking, the cancellation must be submitted in writing. GoblinBBQ will process the request and issue the fifty percent refund accordingly. If the event is scheduled for a later date, customers may request to reschedule instead. GoblinBBQ will make every effort to accommodate a new date if availability allows. Rescheduling may require updated pricing or additional charges depending on the circumstances.

If GoblinBBQ has already begun significant preparation, such as marinating meats, assembling dishes, or purchasing large quantities of ingredients for a specific event, the refund may be limited strictly to the fifty percent cap without exception. This ensures that losses are minimised and operations remain stable.

If GoblinBBQ must cancel an order due to unforeseen emergencies, supply issues, or conditions beyond our control, customers will receive a full refund or be offered an alternative solution. GoblinBBQ always prioritises quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, and will communicate promptly if any disruption occurs.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details and ensuring that someone is present to receive the order at the scheduled time. Refunds will not be issued for failed deliveries caused by incorrect information or inaccessible locations. Once the food has been delivered and accepted, GoblinBBQ cannot provide refunds for issues related to handling, storage, or delays caused by the customer.
